Terms & Conditions

1. Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Bank”) reserves the right to terminate any promotional offer and alter any applicable promotional Terms and Conditions at any time. In case of disputes, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.

2. Customers who enjoy discretionary pricing or special package will NOT be eligible for the above campaign offers.

3. Customers cannot enjoy the above campaign offers in conjunction with any other promotional offers of the Bank.

4. Should there be any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.

5. $0 Handling Fee is only applicable to new SME Banking trade customers who open their International Trade Account or Trade Services Account on or after 2 April 2012 (the “New Customers”). New Customers are entitled to Fee Waiver for all Designated Trade Transactions (defined below) during the promotional period of 2 April to 30 September 2012 (the “Promotional Period”).

6. The Designated Trade Transactions refer to Import Documentary Credit Issuance, Import Bills Collection, Export Bills Collection, Import Invoice Financing and Export Invoice Discounting processed during the Promotional Period (the “Designated Trade Transactions”).

7. $0 Handling Fee is only applicable to the handling charges of the Designated Trade Transactions charged by the Bank during the Promotional Period and excludes any other fees and interest resulting from the Designated Trade Transactions. The amount of Fee Waiver is subject to a maximum cap of HKD20,000 for each New Customer.

8. For the Fee Waiver, the New Customers will receive a Cash Rebate (the “Rebate”) credited to their HKD Current Account as designated by the Bank within 6 weeks after the Promotional Period. The Bank’s exchange rate at the time of fulfilment will be adopted to calculate the Rebate. The New Customer must maintain a valid HKD Current Account with the Bank at the time of fulfilment. Otherwise, the Rebate will be forfeited absolutely and shall not be paid to the New Customer through any other means.

9. All SME Banking customers with International Trade Account or Trade Services Account (the “Eligible Customer”) are eligible for the Rewards Points under the SME 360º Rewards Programme (the “Rewards Points”).

10. For Rewards Points, designated transactions refer to Inward Remittance and Outward Remittance (excluding Local Telegraphic Transfer) and Designated Trade Transactions (the “Designated Transactions”).

11. Customers who successfully process at least 5 Designated Transactions each month for the first, second, third, fourth and fifth consecutive month during the Promotional Period will be eligible for 100,000, 100,000, 200,000, 300,000 and 300,000 points in the respective month. To be eligible for the maximum 2,000,000 points, customers must successfully process at least 5 Designated Transactions each month for 6 consecutive months during the Promotional Period. For New Customers, the 6 consecutive months will start from the month of opening a new International Trade Account or SME Banking Trade Services Account. Customers who successfully process at least 5 Designated Transactions each month not in consecutive order will be eligible only for 100,000 points for the respective month.

12. Customers eligible for the Rewards Points are eligible for all existing rewards under the SME 360º Rewards Programme.

13. To enjoy the Rewards Points, Eligible Customer must have a valid Standard Chartered CUP ATM Card and SME Banking Account with the Bank at the time of fulfilment. The Rewards Points will be credited to the Eligible Customer’s CUP ATM Card account within 8 weeks after the Promotional Period. Standard Chartered CUP ATM Card and SME 360º Rewards Programme are subject to relevant terms and conditions.
