Credit Protection Plan
There are times when the unexpected may happen. Credit Protection Plan (CPP) provides the peace of mind when it comes to protecting you or your dependents to get through difficult times for a premium as low as RM0.31 for every RM100 outstanding per month. Maximum payout in aggregate of all the above benefits during the entire period is RM50,000.

The beauty of the plan is that premium is charged according to card usage and if the outstanding balance for that month is zero, the premium will not be charged at all.

CPP provides exclusive coverage for SCB Standard Chartered Credit Cardholders on:
• Accidental Death,
• Temporary Total Disablement,
• Permanent Total Disablement, and
• Involuntary Unemployment

I have obtained a copy of the Credit Protection Plan’s Product Disclosure Sheet (CPP – PDS) from Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad.

I have read the CPP - PDS and fully understand the information and pricing of the CPP that I am applying for.

I declare that I am at the age of 60 and below under and that I have not been hospitalized in the last 12 months or suffer from any illness, physical infirmity or impairment and in good health. I am also engaged in Permanent and Gainful Employment and not under notice of dismissal, employment termination, redundancy or severance.

Note: Credit Protection Plan covers your outstanding loan amount in the event of Accidental Death, Accidental Partial/Permanent Disability and Involuntary Unemployment and is a useful safety net. However, it is NOT compulsory and you do not have to apply for it if you do not want to. Your decision whether or not to take up CPP has no bearing on your credit card application.
