Terms and Conditions of MANHATTAN Credit Card Up to 50% Cash Rebate Promotion (the “Promotion”):
1. The promotion period is from 1 December 2012 to 31 January 2013 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”). Phase 1: 1 to 31 December 2012; Phase 2: 1 to 31 January 2013.
2. To be eligible for the Promotion, selected MANHATTAN Platinum and MANHATTAN Titanium Credit Cardholders who receive this promotion mailer (“Cardholders”) are required to settle payment with MANHATTAN Platinum or MANHATTAN Titanium Credit Card (“Applicable Credit Card”) issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”). Other MANHATTAN credit cards are not eligible for the Promotion. Acceptance of MANHATTAN Platinum or MANHATTAN Titanium Credit Card will be at the sole discretion of the merchants. The Bank shall not be held liable in any manner whatsoever in relation to that.
3. To be eligible for the Promotion, Cardholders must register their respective Applicable Credit Card accounts via the registration webpage anytime between 9:00am of the first day and 11:59pm of the last day of the Promotion Period. Cardholders will be given a reference number upon successful registration.
4. Rebate Categories and the respective Designated Merchants are:

5. To be eligible for the Rebate 1, Cardholders are required to have accumulated transactions (“Accumulated Transactions”, details in clause 8) of HK$2,500 or above during each phase. To be eligible for the Rebate 2, Cardholders are required to have Accumulated Transactions of HK$4,000 or above during each phase.
6. Cardholders will be entitled to receive the Rebate for spending at Designated Merchants under the Selected Categories. For Rebate 1, the monthly rebate amount will be calculated by multiplying the Eligible Transaction (“Eligible Transaction”, as defined in clause 7) under cinema category amount by 50%. For Rebate 2, the Rebate amount will be calculated by multiplying the Eligible Transaction amount under cinema category by 50% plus multiplying the Eligible Transaction amount under Designated Department Stores and/or Designated AV and Electrical Appliance Stores by 10%.The monthly rebate amount will be rounded up to the nearest 2 decimal places in Hong Kong dollars and is subject to a maximum of HK$200 in each phase and HK$400 for the Promotion Period per account and will be credited into the Applicable Credit Card accounts. Transactions made by the Principal and Supplementary Cardholders of the same Applicable Credit Card accounts will be counted collectively.
7. Eligible Transactions include transactions made with the Applicable Credit Cards at Designated Merchants in Hong Kong under the Rebate Categories during the Promotion Period. Other transactions are not regarded as Eligible Transactions, including but not limited to transactions without sales slips and any unauthorized transactions.
8. Accumulated Transactions include all local and overseas retail purchases, internet order, cash advance and principal of Interest-free Instalment Plan made with the Applicable Credit Card accounts during the Promotion Period (based on the transaction date shown on the monthly statement). Other transactions are not eligible for the Promotion, including but not limited to mail order, phone order, auto payment, utilities bill, insurance payment, Octopus Automatic Add-Value amount, billed monthly instalment of Interest-free Instalment Plan, handling fee, annual fee, past due charges, overlimit charges, interest/finance charges, balance transfer amount and interests, “Credit-to-Cash” Preferential Annual Rate Program amount and interests/handling fee, “Instalment Credit Plan” or “Statement Instalment Plan” monthly instalment amount and interest/handling fee, online bill payment, casino chip exchange and tax payment. Any unposted/cancelled/refunded/falsified and any unauthorized transactions are also excluded from the Promotion.
9. Unless otherwise specified, the Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers.
10. Rebates will be credited to the Cardholder’s (or as the case may be, Principal Cardholder’s) accounts on or before 31 March 2013.
11. The Applicable Credit Card accounts must be valid, non-delinquent and in good financial standing when the Rebate is to be credited. The Rebate amount cannot be drawn as cash advance, is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
12. The Bank will verify transaction record to confirm Cardholders’ eligibility for the Promotion. In case of discrepancy between the Bank’s computer record and details recorded on the credit card sales slip, the Bank’s computer record shall prevail.
13. If Cardholders have cancelled any related transactions which had been included in calculating for the Promotion after the Rebate has been credited to the Cardholder’s Applicable Credit Card accounts, the Bank has the right to debit the amount equivalent to the value of Rebate from the Applicable Credit Card accounts without further notice.
14. Cardholders are required to keep the relevant original sales receipts and credit card sales slips for inspection upon request by the Bank. In case of disputes, Cardholders are required to submit the relevant original sales receipt(s) and credit card sales slip(s) for further investigation by the Bank. All relevant documents submitted to the Bank will not be returned.
15. The Bank reserves the right to alter or terminate the Promotion and amend the terms and conditions at any time. In case of disputes, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
16. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
 
MANHATTAN信用卡高達50%現金回贈計劃(「計劃」)之條款及細則:
1. 整個推廣期由2012年12月1日至2013年1月31日(包括首、尾兩天) (「推廣期」)。第一階段:2012年12月1日至12月31日;第二階段:2013年1月1日至1月31日。
2. 收到此推廣郵件之MANHATTAN Platinum信用卡及MANHATTAN Titanium信用卡客戶(「客戶」)須以渣打銀行(香港)有限公司(「本行」)發行之MANHATTAN Platinum信用卡或MANHATTAN Titanium信用卡(「適用信用卡」)簽賬方可享有優惠。其他MANHATTAN信用卡並不適用於此計劃。商戶有權拒絕接納MANHATTAN Platinum信用卡或MANHATTAN Titanium信用卡,本行對此一概毋須負責。
3. 客戶須於推廣期的首天(早上9時起)至最後一天(晚上11時59分前)於網上登記其適用信用卡賬戶,方可參與此計劃。成功登記之客戶於完成登記時將獲發一個參考編號。

5. 客戶須於每階段累積零售簽賬(「累積簽賬」),定義見下列條款8)達HK$2,500或以上,方可獲享回贈1;客戶須於每階段累積零售簽賬,達HK$4,000或以上,方可獲享回贈2。
6. 回贈1將以每階段合資格簽賬(「合資格簽賬」),定義見下列條款7之全港戲院消費金額乘以50%計算;回贈2則每階段合資格簽賬之全港戲院消費金額乘以50%計算,再加指定百貨公司及/或指定影音電器商戶之消費金額乘以10%計算。回贈金額將計至小數位後兩個位的港元為單位,並以現金回贈方式存入適用信用卡賬戶內。每個賬戶每階段最高可獲享HK$200回贈,整個推廣期最高可獲享HK$400回贈。
7. 合資格簽賬包括推廣期內以適用信用卡於回贈類別之指定商戶於香港購物簽賬的交易。其他交易均不被視作合資格簽賬,包括但不限於沒有簽賬存根之交易及其他未經許可之簽賬。
8. 累積簽賬包括以適用信用卡於推廣期內所作之本地及海外零售簽賬、網上購物、現金透支及免息分期付款計劃之總金額(以顯示於月結單上之交易日期計算)。其他交易均不適用於此計劃,包括但不只限於郵購、電話購物、自動轉賬、繳交公共事務費用、保費、八達通自動增值、已誌賬之免息分期之每月供款、手續費、年費、逾期費用、超額費用、利息/財務費用、結餘轉賬之金額及利息、「兌現年息優惠」計劃之金額及利息/手續費、「兌現分期」或「月結單分期」計劃之供款及利息/手續費、網上繳款、兌換籌碼及繳稅金額。所有未誌賬/取消/退款/偽造/未經許可的交易均不適用於此計劃。
9. 除特別註明外,此優惠不可與任何其他推廣優惠同時使用。
10. 透過此計劃所獲贈之回贈將於2013年3月31日或之前存入客戶(主卡客戶)之有關適用信用卡賬戶並顯示於信用卡月結單上。
11. 客戶有關之適用信用卡賬戶必須於存入所獲贈之回贈時仍為有效,無拖欠任何信用卡賬項及信用狀況良好,方可享有回贈。回贈不可作現金透支提取,亦不得轉換及轉讓。
12. 本行將經電腦核實客戶之適用信用卡交易記錄,方確定客戶於此計劃獲享回贈之資格。若簽賬存根印載的資料與本行存檔記錄不符,將以本行存檔記錄為準。
13. 如客戶於獲贈回贈後取消用作計算有關任何此計劃之簽賬,本行有權從客戶之適用信用卡戶口內扣除相等於該回贈之金額,而毋須另行通知。
14. 客戶必須保留有關之交易單據及信用卡簽賬存根正本以作核對之用。如有任何爭議,客戶必須提供有關之交易單據及簽賬存根正本,以便本行作進一步調查。所有已遞交之有關文件將不獲發還。
15. 本行保留隨時更改或終止此計劃以及修訂條款及細則之權利。如有任何爭議,本行將保留最終決定權。
16. 中英文版本之內容如有歧義,概以英文版為準。
